Part numbers: Omega GF 620 spare parts catalogue. Numbers stamped on the parts are teaching labels; real 564 parts are not marked with them. Parts are drawn for teaching from the 564 film drawings, not to scale. Screws and the automatic block: Omega Technical Guide No. 13 (551) and TG-19-C-097 (565). Omega prints no order for the dial and movement sides; they follow normal bench order, as in the 564 film. The 564 shares every screw with the 565 in GF 620-3 and differs only in its train wheel bridge 564.1003 and upper automatic bridge 551.1031, so the 565 guide’s screws are used here. Hands and dial come off before the bench starts; they vary by model. Right-drag or two fingers to look around. T shows the tray. F is full screen. Oiling of the automatic device: Omega Technical Guide No. 13 (1959), Synta-Visco-Lube; Omega gives no oiling chart for the train or the calendar of this family, so none is shown. When each drop goes on is normal bench practice.

THE BENCH

A full service on a vintage Omega Constellation calibre 564, from dial off: dial side, automatic device and movement side come apart into three trays, then it all goes back, last out first in. Every part with its number, and the automatic device oiled the way Omega’s 1959 guide gives it. A virtual service before you open your own.

Learn shows every part, tool and number. Practise asks you to name the next part before it moves. Rounds after the first are Practise. Numbers stamped on the parts are teaching labels, not factory marks.
