Vintage Omega prices: what they actually sell for

What a vintage Omega sells for, by model and calibre, as a running watch with its original dial. Every row opens eBay's own sold search for that model, so you can see the real sales behind each band.

Most sell for a few hundred to a few thousand US dollars as a running watch with the original dial. A 1970s steel Genève or Seamaster automatic sells in the low-to-mid hundreds; a 1960s Seamaster, Seamaster De Ville or Constellation with a 500- or 560-series calibre in the high hundreds to low thousands; a Speedmaster, Flightmaster or Ploprof for several thousand. Solid gold sets a floor at the gold weight, and a redial or a non-runner roughly halves the price as a watch.

Asking prices aren't prices

A listing shows what a seller hopes to get. A sold listing shows what a buyer paid, and on vintage Omegas the gap is wide, widest on watches described as "all original" or "just serviced". Price guides built from asking prices carry the same inflation. The sold links above show finished sales only.

What moves the price

Original dial or redial. A redial generally halves the price as a watch. The hands lookup shows what should be on your reference, and Is it real? covers the tells.
Solid gold, capped or plated. Solid gold sets a floor at the gold weight. Capped and plated cases have no metal value and wear through. Gold or plated? reads the stamps inside the back.
The right calibre in the right case. A movement from another watch makes it a marriage, and buyers who check pay parts money for it. The reference lookup shows which calibre Omega fitted to your case.
Sharp or polished. Crisp, unpolished lug edges are worth real money. A heavily polished case is a common reason a watch sells at the bottom of its band.
Running or not. A non-runner generally halves the price as a watch and leaves the parts value alone. What's my Omega worth? explains all three values: as a watch, as parts and as gold.

Questions people ask

How much is a vintage Omega worth?

Most sell for a few hundred to a few thousand US dollars as a running watch with the original dial. A 1970s steel Genève or Seamaster automatic sells in the low-to-mid hundreds; a 1960s Seamaster, Seamaster De Ville or Constellation with a 500- or 560-series calibre in the high hundreds to low thousands; a Speedmaster, Flightmaster or Ploprof for several thousand. Solid gold sets a floor at the gold weight, and a redial or a non-runner roughly halves the price as a watch.

Which vintage Omegas are worth the most?

Among everyday models, the Speedmaster with the calibre 321, from thousands to tens of thousands of US dollars. The 1970s Speedmaster Professional, the Flightmaster and the Ploprof sell for several thousand, and a solid 18k gold Constellation for mid thousands and up.

Where can I see what vintage Omegas actually sold for?

In completed sales, not asking prices: eBay's sold listings, auction results with the buyer's premium added, and forum sales threads. Every model on this page links straight to its eBay sold search.

Why do two similar vintage Omegas sell for such different prices?

Dial, metal, calibre, case and condition. A redial or a non-runner roughly halves the price as a watch, solid gold sets a floor at the gold weight, and a movement that doesn't belong in the case turns a watch into a parts watch.

The bands are typical completed sales in 2026 for a running watch with its original dial, from the Watch Breaker model guides, checked September 2026. They are a guide, not an appraisal: a watch can sit outside its band, and the sold links show the current numbers. For more on each model, see the Seamaster, Constellation, Genève, Seamaster De Ville and Speedmaster guides.
